Preludes and Openers
This is not the beginning of my journey. It's not the end, either. It is, in a way, a means to an end. As many things are. I find myself needing to leave proof. Proof that I am, and proof that I can. This blog will mostly be an exercise in writing. I want to improve my writing as much as I want to share it. So that's what I'll do here. I hope, as my readers, that you will share your observations and critiques honestly. Fairly, too, if you don't mind. I am a graduate student, studying forensic linguistics. My final semester starts in a few days. I'll spend most of it writing my thesis. Still, I will try to write about my process, and anything else in my life I might want to share.
